More Hannah Pictures...

Just a few random ones that I LOVE! I cannot believe that in a week she'll be 9 months! AND she now has two top teeth to go with the shiny bottom ones!

Finally HOT weather!

I LOVE it when the weather gets HOT and it's gorgeous outside all the time and you can sit on your porch til late at night and just hang out!
Today Hannah and I walked up to where my sister is working for the summer on weekends. She's stayin with us a couple nights a week while she interns there and so we went to visit her during lunch and hang out in the sun! And as we know Hannah loves the water so we splashed in the fountain for a bit...she gets awful mad when you take her back out though! :) Guess I need to get on looking at what the pool offers and start taking her just to hang out!

It's the Simple Things Really...

I just had to laugh because it's hilarious watching Hannah find new things. Sometimes I think it would be awesome to go back to where the little things make a big difference in your world! This morning she figured out that if you pull on the end of the toilet paper roll...well it just keeps on comin! I wish my camera had been handy because I came in to find her in a fluffy white pile of toilet paper and a major smile on her face. hahaha! Ahhhh...to be that entertained by the small things again!

What a monkey!

Hannah has really gotten super busy in the last week or so. She's into cabinets...you'll turn around for a second and she'll work herself under a coffee table or the kitchen table or into some crevice she can't get back out of or will take off and crawl under our bed and play with the stuff under there with MUCH delight...until she tries to get out. I usually try to make her find her way back out with a little help but she is too funny. When you sneak up and catch her she thinks it's the most hilaroius thing ever! She climbs both sets of our stairs in a matter of minutes and if you're laying on the floor or sitting with her she'll do somersaults and crazy things over the top of you. These are the days where we become the human jungle gym. :)

Only in the NW....

Only here in Oregon or the NW as a whole can you go from having the heat on and a sweater and jeans one day....

To air conditioning and nothing but a diaper the very next....

CONGRATS HOLLY!

My sister Holly graduated from OSU on Sunday afternoon and I am SO proud of her!!! I love her incredibly and she is one of my very best friends. Tomorrow she and my mom drive down to Texas where she's moving so she can be there and get settled for a few weeks before her wedding in August. I am so extremely proud of her and can't wait for her wedding but I am sad to think of her not being here after that. I love you mucho!!! Smoochie Schmoos!

8 month Hannah

I'm a little behind on this...she's more like 8.5 months now. But she is a doll! I cannot believe how much I love her and more so every day! She's a handful! But I love it. She's into EVERYTHING. She's crusin and trying to stand. She's almost always happy or trying to be even when it's obvious she's miserable or beyond tired. She's an excellent hugger and loves to pat you to give loves...she continues to get more and more gorgeous and more fun! She LOVES flowers and being outside...and definitely loves to talk and jabber. We've noticed in the last week or so she drums anything that makes fun noises and has started humming and singing to music and songs if you sing or are in the car with music on. She says Dada lots now and usually mama is only said when she's crashed into something or at 2 in the morning when she's awake and shouldn't be. She's incredibly busy and has already figured out how to climb the stairs...wedge herself under the end tables in the living room and crawl into the dishwasher. She is lots of fun and we love her beyond words! :)

Happy Father's Day!

This is a couple days late because often I don't have time every day to sit and blog but HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Happy Father's Day Adam and thank you for being as good as you are with Hannah in your own way! You can make her laugh quicker and harder than anyone else! You can get her to focus and eat all of her food when with me it takes forever most days...you can absolutely see the love for her in your eyes and how much she adores you when she looks at you!
And about 2 weeks ago she started saying da da da dada dadee! So now everytime she sees him she whispers that! Very cute! Nevermind that she's stopped saying mama for the time being! :)
Happy Father's Day Dad for being such an amazing father to me and a grampa to Hannah. I love watching you two together! You are the best at knowing when to give advice and when not to...when there's extra love needed...and knowing what needs to be said when. You are amazing! I love you very much!

Idaho Trip!

Last week Hannah and I flew to Idaho to see our niece (her cuz) Piper and Adam's brother Shane and wife Maren. Hannah did EXCELLENT on both flights despite the fact that on our way TO Idaho we hit some serious snafus and ended up missing one flight and waiting for over 3 hours in the airport to catch the next flight. Over all she did excellent and it was so cute to see her and Piper playing together. Piper would sit and read her stories and Hannah was just beside herself everytime Piper would come into the room after a nap or something. SO cute! It will be fun to see these girls play together once Hannah gets to walking and talking! Here are some of the pictures from while we were there! Thanks for letting us come guys! :)
