We're getting there...

In the last couple of weeks we've been putitng Hannah up on all fours because she's gotten tired of just scooting on her stomach...in the last few days she's gotten to the place where she can put herself up on all fours and is rocking back and forth...watch out for this kid! I say give her a few more weeks and she might be well on her way!! Aaah! I've already started looking around at everything she could possibly get into (Even though there's always something I'll forget) and trying to put baby friendly things down at her level. This girl is movin on up. Besides that she just thinks everything is funny. Especially the dog...she starts laughing which gets him running in circles and makes her laugh even harder. They're buds. :) She is too much fun!!

Mmmm Coffee!!

For my birthday I got some birthday money from a few different people and one thing I've been REALLY wanting is a new coffee pot! I loved coffee before but now since having Hannah it's become even more wonderful! So I bought myself this shiny new coffee pot and I LOVE IT! I'm a total nerd but it's the little things....
Yay for new appliances!

Cousins!? I think so!

I was looking back at some of our niece Piper's older pictures from when she was here last March and around the same age then as Hannah is now...they really do look VERY similar I think! It's crazy the different people babies can look like but I don't think there's any mistaking these two are cousins!! These aren't the best comparable photos but they're the best I could find right now! Check it out!!

Hannah is on her way to 6 months!!

I really cannot believe that! She's this gorgeous little fun person that is really starting to exert her independence. She is SO frstrated that she can't get to where she wants to yet on her own. We got her a Johnny Jump up yesterday and she seems to like it a lot. Right now she just keeps twirling herself in circles! Very cute to watch! She's really become a baby that adapts well to our schedule and to any new schedule we try to lay down. She puts herself to sleep amazingly and most nights sleeps straight thru until about 5 or so! Even then she's only up briefly before going back to sleep. She is so much fun and is starting to giggle at a lot more. Still loves dogs! Can't get enough of them! Doesn't mind them in her face-big or small she loves em! She really is the best little person and we are so in love with her!!!

I Love Target!!!

No seriously I LOVE it!! I would go there every day if I could...except that it's a dangerous place to be because I cannot recall a time when I've gone in and not walked out with something! EVERYTHING in that store is great! I haven't been in forever and recently got some birthday money and gift certificates so Hannah and I went to Target together the other day! Wohoo!!!! So I got some things for me but there were some CUTE things for Hannah I wanted too! So I ended up getting her a couple things that were on sale, including a shower curtain and bath rug. Ok these are really more for me than for her per se but she REALLY loves the colors and the monkey's on the new shower curtain. I wanted to make her bathroom more kid friendly and so here it is:

Reading is Fun!

I have ALWAYS been a huge fan of reading. Even as a kid I loved going to the library and reading any book I could! I like all kinds of genres. But some days or even years it's easier to sit down and read than others. Lately I haven't really had the easiset time getting through books just because of all that goes on day to day but I've been trying harder to use my down time at the end of each day to read a book. However, I realized I'm currently in the midst of several books! Kind of crazy but I'm reading all these right now:
Mansfield Park by Jane Austen for a book club! (Yay!)
Baby Wise II
What to Expect the First Year
Grace Based Parenting
These Boots Weren't Made for Walking
and Amish Country Roads...or something like that!
A couple of these books have been passed along from other family members or friends who enjoy reading as well! Adam thinks I'm crazy when I say that reading really much of the time is MUCH better than anything on tv! It really is! :)
